Ahoy there

It’s currently 9:27am and I’m leaving for school at 10:10. We only have to be in at 11:25 because of all the little year sevens who get to go in early. Aww.
I couldn’t get up this morning. 8am has to be the earliest I’ve woken up all holiday. And now I feel like such a lazy arse. Let’s see what I’ve accomplished during my holiday, in order:

  • I got into the final six for the SUSO art competition
  • I had my birthday! 14 grand years old. I feel wise.
  • Had £100 from my granddad and spent it on clothes… and hairspray ;)
  • Got my hair cut
  • Went to the Apple store to buy my shiny MacBook!
  • Went to Teen Culture (snore) and raved like a lunatic
  • Watched everyone else go on holiday
  • Didn’t go to Holland :(
  • Got asked by everyone: “why would you want to go to Holland?” - I was born there ;)
  • Got bored and registered thecatmafia.net because it became possible
  • Wrote an essay on censorship because I felt like it (see Goodies section)
  • Bought shoes for school
  • Found out I was the runner up in the art competition and won £50 :D
  • Got pins and needles from sitting awkwardly on my bed with my laptop

No holiday affairs or interesting things like that here. Although, I suppose I’ve done a fair bit in six weeks. I went in with 13 years of age, came out with 14, a MacBook, a haircut, new clothes, a domain name and £50. I guess I did pretty good, huh? :P
Off to school now, if I can find my (non-existent) tie. No, I don’t wear a tie, I’m just confusing myself. I can’t spell either. Girls’ grammar schools really take their toll on your sanity, you know (:

Your summer is more interesting than any of mine. We usually don’t take holidays during summer, mostly during the other side of the year. But then again, that’s summer time for you! Ha.

    MacBook. Lucky, lucky girlie. Mm.

Seems like you had a good summer! Maybe you’ll get to go to Holland next year. I wish I was good at art, I saw your poster in the entry below and it’s really good!

Blah, your holidays were much more interesting than mine. I basically just sat around all the time, looking bored (probably because I was). I did get a lot of sleep, though. Maybe that is an accomplishment?

Your holiday might not seem interesting, but you’ll probably want to go back to it after having to wake up early for school :grr:

It sucks to watch everyone else go on holiday when you’re stuck at home, though. Same thing happened to me :(

Ooh, most of that definitely sounds like a good time! Lucky for getting that new computer, I am dying for a new one myself, hehe! :D Good luck in school!

Yeah, getting new clothes and haircut is good thing. And I’d love to get a MacBook (though I really like my Toshiba; good, nice Toshiba, *pats notebook* ^^)
You might go to Holland next year - or no, instead come to Poland - sounds similar and it’s raining much less! :D

If you ever do go to Holland let me know, I could show you around Groningen :D Anyways, pretty active holiday you’ve had. But where are the pictures of your new clothes and haircut? What fun is buying stuff if you don’t brag about in on your blog ;)

Wow, your school starts at 11:25? Mine starts at 8:00. I remember when I went to the Apple store to buy my MacBook. It was June 27th and I was wearing a green shirt and I remember I came into their with a big smile, and I came out with an even bigger smile. It soon turned into a frown after my mom announced that she wanted to go shopping at Macy’s so I had to carry my MacBook box around before I could open at it. The temptations…
