This is the Modern Way…
… you’re born, you enjoy life for about ten years, without any worries or stress, then you enter secondary school. You’re suddenly hit with a load of homework and the ever looming threat of detention. And when you thought it couldn’t get any worse (although it really isn’t that bad) you enter year ten. You’re faced with coursework, that actually goes to your final grade for subjects, and then you realise that you can’t just sit around procrastinating and drinking tea and get away with it. You actually have to do something. Because it matters. It matters because you have to get qualifications, go to university, get a job, make money, pay bills and pay tax just so your life is bearable. All that work just to exist. Then you have to find time to live. Is it really worth it? Just existing?

On October 28, 2007 at 6:13 pm.Eh, I have no idea what I’m to do in the future with my low education.
“Do you remember Roni, from year eight? She lives on the streets now, what a shame.” Somebody would say, and the person replying would say “No… Who was Roni?” Then the person would say “Remember, that girl that didn’t come to school much?” The next reply would be “Oh, yeah! I remember.”
LOL.

On October 28, 2007 at 8:01 pm.I didn’t really think getting through school was that bad and now I am at college, I don’t think that is too bad either. It is all about time management. You can get your work done, get your qualifications and the rest while having a relationship and a life.

On October 29, 2007 at 5:37 pm.ohh, don’t complain! high school is not that bad. wait till you come to uni…
here you don’t have lectures; you have to learn everything on your own; can’t do the coursework, because you have to do it on a linux computer and they’re all broken; everyone expects you to go out each evening [of course you don’t have to do this, you just somehow CHOOSE to], then sleep for 3 hours and then go to a lecture at 9 AM. Oh, and you promise youself you won’t drink any alcohol at the party because you have test the next day and obiously you can’t make it. ;]
yeah, uni is soooo much fun! I love it! ^^ -

On November 7, 2007 at 1:47 am.Don’t worry, everything’s worth it in the end. I actually don’t find high school that hard, probably because I got used to the transition pretty fast. But all the struggling now will definitely amount up to something in the future.

On November 7, 2007 at 3:23 am.I miss those carefree days when we were younger… We didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING.. now.. We’re all “grown up” with nothing but a life full of routines.. It’s so…boring..

On November 11, 2007 at 4:39 am.Sounds like you’re hitting now what I hit not too long ago, but I’m in college and worrying about how I’ll have to work for the rest of my life and that I won’t have enough free time.
Obviously to me it is still worth existing because I haven’t killed myself yet. You find things that make it enjoyable, even if you dread your job or hate your classes, yadda yadda. -
